Good-bye baseball; good-bye school and friends. Attend temple in DC. with cousin Lindsay and Rob who took a six hour bus trip from Manhattan for the occasion. Visit incredible historic sites with parents. After finals, began cross country road trip with Mom. Stood at the pulpit of very first MTC in Nauvoo and located names of a handful of G-G-G-G grandfathers who were taught there before serving their missions. What a legacy. Tender experience in Carthage and Nauvoo temple with Brother and Sister Coons. Retraced route of pioneers, visited Winter Quarters and met awesome missionaries along the way. Listened to author and patriot David McCullough at brother's commencement in SLC, attended Draper temple with soon to be sister-in-law. Did one stop missionary shopping at Mr. Mac with help from counsin Josh. Visited with grandma and sisters, then home to Las Vegas for buddy Mat's excellent talk in church just before he leaves to serve in Anchorage, Alaska. Have about four weeks to finish last minute preparations . . ..
